Dr Melanie Landman, who is one of the Trustees of the Centre for Marian Studies, is an anthropologist with expertise in the history of Black Madonnas. In December 2023, she took part in an investigation of that topic as part of the "Things Unseen" podcast with Liz Adekunle.
